    My favorite BIRTHDAY CAKE(S) are the "Derby" Praline Cake"(featured on Food Network Channel and the Paula Deen & Sons Show)..it is out of this world delicious! The brown butter cake is "infused" with premium bourbon "or" rum, then topped with a delicious buttery-sugar pecan or walnut (praline) topping! My 2nd favorite is Daisy Cake"s (as featured on Shark Tank) "Lemon Curd Cake" with Cream Cheese Frosting "AND" Daisy Cake's "Southern Red Velvet Cake" with Rich Cream Cheese Frosting! My 4th favorite is a 12-layer Cake (Very thin moist layers of butter-rich cake…filled with decadent chocolate icing). So delicious…Smith Island Cakes SUPER ROCK! ;-D It is very difficult to find the RECIPES to all of the CAKES I mentioned above. I have been looking for years for the "Derby Praline Cake". I have researched many cookbooks and family & friend's recipes. The "DERBY PRALINE CAKE" is so hard to find! I have come close to figuring the recipe out; however, I can NEVER quite get the "TEXTURE"…CRUMB of that cake correct! 🙁 I sort of figured out the Southern Red Velvet Cake (which, by the way is just chocolate cake with Red gel food coloring & Vinegar). 😀 The 12-layer cake is NOT to impossible to make (my resource was the book-THE CAKE BIBLE). NOTE: All of the CAKES mentioned above can be ordered via the internet. Rosanna, perhaps, after you taste these cakes…you can help me "figure" out the recipes! ;-D Let's "hack" them! LOL *P.S.     I'm eleven, and I would like to have a 7 layer chocolate cake with pink strawberry frosting in between the layers, and all around the sides and top. for decoration, I would like to have crushed Hershey kisses sprinkled on top and around the sides, and I couple strawberry macaroons on top.
