Today I completed course two of the Wilton cake decorating series. What a fun class! You will learn to make several different flowers out of Royal Icing. The most intimidating part for me was the Royal Icing itself…never made it and I was not sure what or how the final product was suppose to be. Now that I know how to make R.I., I love, love, love this stuff. It’s a versital icing and it dries very hard. Your flowers will last forever as long as you keep them in a cool, dry place. Make R.I. flowers ahead of time for those days you are in a pinch and need flowers for your cakes or cupcakes.

This course I took at A.C. Moore. The first Wilton course was taken at my local Michael’s. I was not happy with the instructor and decided to take the second course at a different location. Thanks Mona for your kind words and being such a wonderful instructor.
